Default wired in my MSD 6 AL, getting a code 15 car wont start.

i have just wired in my MSD 6 AL to my CRX 89 ZC however im getting a code 15 when trying to start it. It is a possibility that i knocked the rotor arm out and the ignition timing is 180 degrees out, could that cause a code 15?
any help would be great
thanks

how is it wired
white/red comes from old coil (signal to msd)
orange/black goes to coil
thick red/black is the main power

its wired exactly how anthony88 stated. I have not removed the internal coil. The msd box is still using the stock ignitor coil. The only thing i didnt do by the book is wire the black wire to the negative on the battery, i put it to the chassis instead but i cant see that causing a problem. Could my rotor arm of been pushed round while i was wiring so ive ended up putting the distributor back on with the wrong timing setup? it was a 50/50 on which way it could be. I'll reset the ECU then try again tonight...

I got the same error when I did mine. My problem was a loose connection. Also If i remember correctly (i maybe wrong) on my dohc zc i couldnt put the dizzy in backward.

i believe the rotor has a notch like a cam gear so you cant put it in backwards

I bet its ur groung wire.run that thing to the negative post of the battery.i tried that other way and later on it came loose from engine vibration.moved it to the baterry and had no problems since.
