Can SAFC's Retard Timing?

I was wondering if the afc can retard the timing under boost conditions, or manually.... or will i have to get an MSD boost retarding thingamabob....

it won't retard timing at all, you need to get an aftermarket unit like the msd btm to do it. the safc modifies fuel signals and has nothing to do with timing.

your best off getting the msd 6btm because it's an after market ignition as well and most of the universal BTM's require an msd ignition anyway.
