Default Could someone burn me a chip?

I have a (90-91) PM6, and am a NEWB when it comes to ECU chipping. I have read all of pgmfi forums and the Wiki database thing, but I still am confused. I also don't have a chip burner or $$ to get one.

Basically I just want a proven boost map for my setup. I have a D16A6 w/ T25 running 8psi, stock MAP sensor, 450cc injectors. I have a VAFC to do minor tweaks with. If you have a good rom you could burn and ship me, I would pay for the chip, your troubles, and shipping. If you could include anything else I would need for first time chipping (a cheap socket and anything else I need but don't know about) that would be great.

I hope this doesn't violate any TOA, and I know alot of the guys from pgmfi don't like people selling chips burned with their software, but I know it is their software so I think that they will understand.

Thanks
-Dustin

oh and turbo edit roms preffered, incase I ever do get a burner, turboedit is the only software i can get to work correctly on my computer.

I can sell you a chip and ill write whatever rom you want to try if you send me the .bin file. I wont and I doubt anyone will be willing to make one up for you or recommend theirs for you due to liability. It would be up to you to make sure you air/fuel and timing is acceptable and re-tune it by other means as necessary and if you blow your motor up its your fault.

..agreed, I get a lot of e-mails asking me to tune people's cars and send them the ROM. It's impossible.

The best thing to do (advice for people burning ROMs for others) is to have the user make the ROM they feel appropriate, then send it to you to burn. Just a thought..
