Default dumb noob question.

Ok so I'm new to this whole fabrecation thing. And I waj wondering if it was at all possable to run aluminum cord threw a regular mig welder.

yes. you can mig weld aluminum but you need 100% argon shielding gas to do it.

Awesome. It has always been a question I needed to ask. But no one wvwer knew. Well intake here I come. Ha ha. I have an 88 nissan hard body. And it is throttle body injected. So I want to build a little box or something. With a tube comming out so I have the choice of cold air for street driving or snorkle for those nasty situations.

Just make sure you keep the torch lead as straight as possible so that the sire wont bind in it. That is the reason that most use a spool gun when they mig aluminum.

I was looking for a spool gun but I have only seen them for the lincoln. And all I have is a cheap *** harbor freight mig. But its a start rite. But thanks for the tip.
