Default Civic Swap Help

Hey all,
ive been posting on hondaswap.com about a civic swap i am planning on doing.i have a d16 sohc vtec that i am planning on putting in my 93 civic lx 4 door.in our area there isnt a single car with this swap in in so i figured what the hell.all i have got back is negitive feedback on this.someone off the fourm said to come here cause you guys like the sohc vtec.any help here would be appreciated!the motor has been ported and polished, aem fuel rail, aftermarket injectors,dc sports headers, cold air intake, jdm ecu,and msd sci igniton.i feel that this would be a good set-up to run about 6-8 pounds of boost on.help!

ps just let me know if i should even waste my time on this!

Shouldn't be too hard to drop a z6 in a 92-95 if you're got the wiring harness.. if not you'll need to add some to the stock harness. A bunch of guy on here have good luck with boosting z6's.

going from that d15 to a d16 wouldnt be too much of a diff but since you got some mods on there.....there will be a respectable power increase. the trans on the d16z6(s20B) is a bit better in ratios but nothing serious. its a perfect swapt to gain more in all ways. and you're open to way more options then the d15. dont let anyone stop you....you got it...so use it. the wiring harness will go right on. the only thing you have to do is add 3 wires...for vtec. 1 for the spool..1 for pressure...and the other for ground from vtec. i dont remember if 93 has vtec wires on the harness or not...but some 92 does. so check first...and dont mind those stupid neg stuff. people those are just feedbacks of people who never felt a fast sohc. i had a sohc vtec in my rex before....zc pistons/rods...weighted crank....gude wild cam....kg head package, hondata s100 , custon mani w/ 44 mikuni sidedrafts,...that rex kicked ***. N/A i pulled a 188whp w/ 142lbs torque @ 7400...13.4 @ 104 60ft 1.9. the car was still a street car....but the point was......disreguard what everyone says. if they say NO.......your wasting your time.......do it and show them wats up. good luck....but sohc's kick ***. but i still love my b series.
