You can also do a blow thru carb setup but you need more parts. An electric fuel pump, a rising rate fuel pressure regulator, blowoff valve, and a box around the entire carb. You’ll still need to do a lot of trial and error to get it tuned right, but there’s a payoff in that you can run an intercooler, and are capable of far more power. But for quick and dirty and easier design, draw thru with a larger 2 barrel or smaller 4 barrel, like a carter 550 cfm or the like would be the way to go. As stated, you’d be very limited, not make nearly as much power, and get terrible fuel economy.
