Default New member - lining up to turbo the 94 civic ex

Hi guys! Excellent forum! I have an old 94 civic that I love. The car is amazingly well designed. Recently at 240k miles it was suffering from numerous oil leaks and had a lot of deferred engine maintenance, so I manned up and hoisted the engine out and fixed all that I could see needed replacing, baring the crank, valves and internals. The car is now getting me 36mpg on freeway, and losing almost no oil on the dipstick. Amazing car!

Once I realized how easy this car was to work on, I also discovered how huge the aftermarket was and that people were pulling 2-3-4hundred hp from these bad boy d16's so now I'm hooked. I picked up some Miro 16x7.5 wheels that will replace the Pep boys hub caps as soon as it needs tires. I've picked up some sheet metal to replace the bent stuff I got insurance pay outs from. lol The best part is if I wrap this thing across a bumper or pole, I can replace the entire car for 2k, take my rims and at some point turbo/engine and keep rolling! I love it.

So, looking forward to restoring my little dependable car and eventually getting the engine to match the restored car wheels and new bumper going on it (and sh*t it needs paint) with a hot little turbo.
