Default howdy

new to the build your own turbo engine thing been researching for a week and find more new questions than answers.my goal here is to soak up enough basic insight to build a tbi and turbocharged out of an 70's era carburated v-8 international 304. not looking for a road racer but a respectable head turner. looking forward to info

no pictures yet still a running rust bucket, gathering parts and info before i start(soon i hope).
need to get advice on what size turbo i need and what vehicle(s) i can find it on. Also looking into the megasquirt system anyone using it out there , likes dislikes.

The megasquirt is awesome, no dislikes at all. For a v8 engine, you cant go wrong with a holset, which came factory on the dodge ram cummins diesel engines and can be found pretty cheap, $250-500.
