G'day from Aaron, Sydney Australia
Hi,
I currently own a 96 Suzuki Swift Cino Sport. In the past I have played with forced induction including a VX Holden Commodore (GTO Pontiac) with a Raptor Supercharger.
Not being one to shy away from DIY buildups I want to turbocharge this little 1.3L. The common approach is to convert the 1.3 SOHC Carby motor to GTI spec DOHC EFI then add one of the many turbo kits that are available.
For budget reasons I am wanting to set up a blow through intercooled turbo setup. I have seen many successful turbo carby projects done with larger vehicles so believe it is possible to be done without too many issues.
Feel free to comment or point me in the direction of others who have done similar carby setups.
Cheers,
Aaron.
