Default checking in from Bossier City,Louisiana

I just bought a 98 s10 with a carbed 305 in it with a turbo 350 trans. Im lowered the truck 4/5 with a 18 inch wheels on it. Im thinking of turboing the truck, but someone has told alot of bad things about a turboed carbed motor. Mainly looking to make it a fun little truck to ride around in.

List of crap I got for it already.

Basic 350 heads (they will lower the compression from what I hear 72cc chambers compared to the 58cc chambers on the 305 heads).

Vortec 350 heads cause Ive heard these are better then the basics.

SSBC brake kit (all 4 corners)

2 and 1/2 cowl hood

Sunfire seats with the head rest gone and repaired from that already.

650 edelbrock carb.

edelbrock intake manifold

and few other things to make it look better and stuff to shave it if I go that route.

Now is there a way I can turbo charge this truck with a carb? and how hard will tuning be this way?

I need alot of help with this as far as block internals and so fourth. Im also looking for the manifolds too.

msg me if you wanna know what you need to do..

Blowthrough carb is the way to go if you dont wanna mess with EFI. But ultimatly, that would be the best option....

There are many topics on home made blow through carbs that you can search for through google if you want. Then when you have an idea of what your gettting into, hit me up and i can give you some advice...

ALSO - POST SOME PICS - you can find mine in the gallery, or in my first post in this topic.

Take care.
