Whats up! I need some help. I have installed the kit to be activated with a push button switch but i really dont like having to push the button while shifting so i was wondering if anybody can tell me how to wire it for full- trottle.

it is designed to be wired full throttle from the factiry. just read the installation manual. you need to tap the throttle position censor wire. its pretty easy. i have a zex kit on my crx for a little while

 

Which wire in the TPS sensor do i hook it up to. A friend told me that it was the red one. Is that true?

 

Well you got two choices... Puts out right hand "red wire" and "white wire" you have two choices. Its a 50% chance of getting right.

You can always check it once u got it hooked up, just turn your key but dont start it and push your gas pedal all the way, if you hear the clicks, you got the right one. If you do then change it to the other one.

I think its also the red one, but will need to confirm with bro. He knows more about zex than i do.

 

the button isnt for spraying it. ITS FOR ARMING THE KIT. you turn the toggle switch on just so when you hit WOT it will spray. the button is so you arent spraying all the time. it's a safety feature.

 

I will wire it today to see if it works cause im going to the track this coming weekend.

You're just supposed to try all the wires!

 

Just try wires? What if he taps the reference 5V wire? That means the nitrous will effectivly be triggerd at ALL TIMES. Use your multimeter and find which wire has the fluctuating voltage as you move the throttle. Typically it is the middle wire on a 3 pin connector.
