That's the problem i have now. I can't boost over 4500 rpm. and every one tells me to convert to obd1 with a obd1 ECU, Distribuator and obd0 to obd1 harness.

there are solutions to that problem but note i did not use any of them yet but i will do.,

1- you can disable the oil pressure sensor during chip your ecu

2- buy any oil pressure sensore from any damage engine and install it in your zc and wire it
3- search for the p70 and chip it.

I smell your map detecting boosted....w/ other complications. Lose the safc and change the car to obd1. That'll be your best bet if you're running vtec for the thing. Then chip it with (your choice of vendors) with a "base" turbo map to run with your injectors and boost. Stick with low boost first....for tuning. Then IF you get the thing going...then move up. I see your setup going KABOOM very soon with what you have and how its running.

There are many solutions to your problem I see.....But my IMHO....get your car running right first. If the map detects boost...which I'm sure it does.....then your car will be in limp mode. Fix it quick! Your current setup is a recipe to blow.

Hi everyone,

I have finally got my car to work. I kept my car to obd0 and just make sure all my conncetion and wiring where correct and I use pr3 (SIR ECU obd 0)

MY car runs great. I'm boosting 10 pounds and I'm able to boost up to 7500 rpm. But now I have a little problem. My head gasket blew out. They have told me to put in a 10mm gasket and check the head.

Some one told me that I could make my sohc vtech head run as fast and better that Dohc. Is that true? and how?

The problem is not which OBD he is running.

The problem is that he doesn't have proper engine management, and needs to upgrade some hardware like headstuds and rod bolts. He can run it OBD0 no problem, but he needs to get turboedit or BRE.

Sounds like a job for xenocron
