ZC problem again
Ok here we go i had this problem before i took off the turbo now it is NA again and the problem is back. At 5,000 rpm it falls flat on its face with no gas, AF gauge goes flat.
Replaced computer 3 times
replaced fuel injectors 2 different sets
replaced fuel filter
replaced Fuel Reg,
Did every thing but replace the fuel pump
its is a NA DOHC ZC
Just as a second, third fourth ect opinion. I have replaced everything BUT the motor replace the Fuel Pump?
TIA

Re:ZC problem again
no popping also have to turn the key on and off 3 times on a cold start up. No AFC stock injectors in. No other noises that would be odd. I think It is the stock fuel pump that has about 246,000 miles on it or close to that

Re:ZC problem again
Sounds like your fuel pump cant hold pressure when its turned off.Its leaking it back into the tank. Falls on its face do you mean it wont go beyond 5k. can you just rev it with the car parked to 5k and beyond if it doesnt sqirt some carb cleaner in their and see if it revs beyond that then.

Re:ZC problem again
plugs ect brand new. ignitor, coil havent tested them.....
Car parked its great Just under ANY load like driving falls on its face around 5,000 rpm
Checked the TPS about 5 times. Um i think thats it lol
lets diagnose this puppy lol

Re:ZC problem again
man.. so many "could be this" things to change/check.
things i would replace, whether or not they solve the problem can't hurt to be new.
start w/ pump, its old like you said.
then coil/ignitor (after market?, MSD?)
check injector seals for leaks.
whats the vac/boost gauge read, SB 0vac
