Default zc engine questions

ok i have seen som epics of JGE's 1.8 liter zc and im curious as to what they actually did to do this i know they either had to use an ls or gsr crank to actually increase the displacement but im not sure how? alot of stuff you cat transfer from B to D so i want a little more info... maybe someone has done it or knows more about JG's set-up then they are willing to put out at this time..... help is appreciated

can't use a B crank in a D block.

Sleeve the block, then offset grind the crank. You can keep the stock rods if you move the pin location up. Lets say move it up 1.5mm, 2mm long throw on the crank, 78mm bore.......

so a 78mmx94mm motor = 1797cc displacement.

Nothing magic either......

sleeving/rods/pistons/bearings etc around 2500 plus

boost doesnt need a big motor. Good flowing head. Correct turbo size. Enjoy
