definately interchangeable. In fact, if you have a y7/y8, swap it for the z6. The oil holes in the Y series cranks are small and unchamphered. Guy i know had pretty shitty luck with his y8 crank, after he switched to a z6, has had no problems at all.

ok .. well the thing is i have a z6 but im gonna be picking up a complete z6 from my buddy for like nothing, but it has a spun rod bearing.. im gonna tear that one apart and throw in some vitaras and eagle rods.. do you think its necessary to replace the crank or just have it micropolished?

If it spun a bearing on the crank, you gotta replace it.
