z6 head on d15b2 block?

Re:z6 head on d15b2 block?
Don't worry about the compression. 9.8 isn't ----. b16s run 10+:1 (10.2-10.4?) compression and people boost them all day long without problems.
If you have an extra $100 bucks to spend, get the obd0->1 harness, or make your own, and then run uberdata and you'll be perfectly fine.
This is going on a long shot but I think that abaz/jeff's built ls/vtec is going to be running like 11:1 compression. But yes, obvisouly that is a built motor, but the compression is almost a point higher than what you'll be running + he is going to be running a ---- load more boost.
d15b2 block + z6 head + turboedit/uberdata + 8psi = no problem.
And on the same hand, it is just a d15b2 block. You can find them for free or very close to free($20 bucks).
2 last things
I know a semi-local guy that is running a b7 block w/ a z6 head and he is boosting like 10psi on a fmu and last time i talked to him he was still goin'.
There was someone on hmt here that had just finished up a 10+:1 comrpession motor and was boosting it and loving it. Said that he'd never go back to low compression motors again.
Depending on where you are you can have my old b2 if you're too worried about blowing yours up. I already gave my old old b2 to stealthmode for free so
have fun
