Y does it always takes 5 crank to start my car.?
whenever my car sits pass 6 to 8 hours. or say in a very cold weather(which means every morning
)..it ALWAYS takes like 5 crank to start it up. it does that before my motor got re-build and even after that.
fuel pressure`s good, 225 fuel pump`s already in., it will kept on doing it after tune-ups.
but if i`ve been driving it, let it sit for say an hour or two,. it does not do it and starts right up.

On older cars, the ignition system is mostly to blame.
On my carb'd v8 it takes a while for the fuel to pump back thru the lines and go into the carb after I let it sit for a week (I know cause I have one of those nifty see-thru fuel filters on the fuel line).
Remove the cat and see if that helps you out.
