doesnt the ECU jack timing way high up in cold start mode??
and i was reading about running no t-stat on a daily basis and it can cause increased cyl wear due to uneven expansion from the coolent not performing properly

today my t-stat(brand new >1k miles) got stuck open so when i am driving my temp never reaches the bottom line on the gauge but i am not in cold start mode, my idle is fine ~800rpm which makes me think my engine is properly warmed up. i know the gauge works i've watched it climb when i purposely over heated it
what would cause a t-stat to stay open when its brand new and is running really cool going to hurt anything?
