you dont have to use is the verdict now
will throw a code but nothing major
im getting the y7 bottom as we speak

you don't have to run one, it will give you a code (if you check them), but the ks alone won't throw the cel on, and it won't put your ecu in 'limp' mode, there are no performance sacrifices to not running a ks. a lot of people don't run them.

I'm still sticking with the "convert that bitch to OBD1" approach. You know you're going to have to do that anyways to effeciently run some uberdata for that turbo project

ok heres the plan:
put this Y7 bottom end in...going N/A
NOW CALM DOWN....READ ON!!!
lol
the spent Y8 will be rebuilt for turbo usage
when this is done, the turbo will go back on with an intercooler this time and lots of tuning
so again thanks for these quick replies
lemme know if there are any internal parts for sale in here
