whistling in intake manifold

whistling in intake manifold
ok, i have a really high pitched whistling coming from my intake manifold,
dont know what the ---- it is but its coming from inside the manifold
very audible when just standing near the idling engine, but when you put your ear to the manifold itself it is crazy loud.
any ideas.
what i think it might be is that my idle bleed screw is clogged(even though i just took it off and cleaned it)
and its the air being sucked past the throttle plate.
reason i believe so is that when i adjust my idle screw in and out it does not seem to change the idle yet when i pull a vacuum lne my idle jumps up about 400-500 rpm and idles there.
idk and honestly, aside from a very anemic idle the car runs

Re: whistling in intake manifold
So when you blip the throttle dose it go away? I had a iac that would just make a fucked up whine. If i un pluged it, it would stop. I replaced it and all is now good.

Re: whistling in intake manifold
sounds like the exact same problem i had. honda i assume right? pull the FITV off of the bottom of the TB, and pull off the little plate with a phillips or 8mm socket. screw the white thing back in clockwise till it stops. hopefully this will fix your problem.
