well i did a leak down test on my crx today cause the last time i drove it she was blowing a ton of smoke.
i didn't record the % but all 4 were around 70% leaking.
the air was coming out the oil cap.
that means it's the rings right?

oh and my xenocron basemap ran so good i didn't get a tune so i blew my ---- up. i think chris needs to make crappy basemaps so people are forced to get tuned.
12psi on a basemap for 6 months sounds good to me.
i was at 10psi for the first 3 weeks.
not sure what i'm gonna do now. maybe i'll sell the engine and get a single cam, i just paid to get the car registered in ca (was in nv) so i don't want to have that money go to waste.

Why not just through in another ZC and be done with it? It's already setup for it? Engine old and tired and you boosted it? What more did you expect? Hell just pull the pistons out, borrow a hone tool and get new rings.

i expected it to last a couple weeks to be honest, i can't believe it lasted 6 months. i raped the ---- out of the car.

vitaras and zc do not work together. the CR is too low.

i've decided to sell the shell and sell all of the turbo ----.
i have a 98 civic coupe that hasn't ran in 4 years. i blew up the motor in it and bought this crx. so i'm gonna get rid of the crx and get my civic running again.
just a daily driver civic. i have a 65 chevy II that is gonna be my race car.

the smoke is from valve seals, i forgot that i didn't replace them 2 years ago when i lived in vegas.
a couple weeks ago was the first time i went on a cruise with someone i know behind me. they told me it was smoking. i talked to them and they said it was only smoking down hills and right after going down hills.
it's been doing that for a few years.
