Default Where to get a good B16 from

o.k. I'm threw with the ZC's I've learned all there is and gotten all there really is with out spending $$$ out of them and now I just blew my ZC motor from turboing it I want to switch to B series. Here's the deal. I would kill B16's all the time with my ZC with out the turbo except for my one friends B16. His was stock and ran a 14.6 all he had was a ghetto intake and headers thats all. His B16 was fast as hell but I have seen some B16's that are fast and some that just can't get out of their own way. I know thats some B16's only have 150HP that came out of the Civic VT's in japan which was basicly the Base model DOHC VTec civic in japan. This is going into my EF. I hear the OBD1 B16's with a cable trans are really good. Whats invovled in switching from my ODB0 DOHC ZC wiring to going DOHC VTec OBD1 beside wiring up the VTec stuff. Also anyone know of a good reputable company that sells good B16's. Any links. Thanks.

i have never heard of a obd1 b16 that came w/ a cable tranny. all obd1 is 92 + which is hydro tranny's.

the 150hp b16s were the automatics i believe.

you could go get a obd1 and mate that too a obd0 (b16a1) cable tranny.

The 92-93 integra had the B17 and that is OBD 1 with a cable tranny. I am unsure if they still put a B16 in the car for thoes years or not.

B17's I believe are still OBD0 atleast the USDM ones are. I'd like to just do a B18B but it's hard to find OBD0 LS's with low mileage on them. I still haven't found a good sight yet

you wouldn't have to find an obd0 ls to do the swap. i just put an 99 obd2 ls engine in my 93 obd1 teg. all i had to do was use my old dizzy and injectors. i don't see why it wouldn't be the same for obd0

nope the 92 and 93 WERE OBD 1. they did not make an OBD 0 B17.
