The D16a1 pistons (p29) are the same as the JDM ZC(pm7) ones.
You sure that's right spenser? I've used ecu's from the 89 integras, and them and all the pistons are usually marked pm7. As far as using those pistons in a d15 block, my friend and i have done it combo'd with a y8 head...pulls pretty well, but my biggest beef with the whole setup was the rods and stroke are completely different from the a1's and a6's, so the pistons sat almost a quarter of an inch below the deck of the block, and the dome would sit just barely above the deck. The y8 head made most of the difference on this setup, mostly due to the combustion chamber's quench area and slightly higher flow over the z6 heads. Also, we had to use the stock d15 rods because the journal sizes are different on the cranks. Of course on the bright side, d15 has a better r/s ratio than all the d16's out there....think about it

D16 = 1.52 RS
D15 = 1.58 RS
D15Z/B VTEC = 1.62 RS

you mean Pg7 the ecus from the tegs would be marked PG7. but thats interesting to know that you got the d15 rods to fit on a d16 crank? I thought the journal size would be different.
