Ok im looking to make around 400whp, i am using a d16a6 block with je 8.5:1 pistons bored .020 over and eagle h-beam rods, i will have arp head studs and the deck was shaved down 5 thousenths, balanced and will be posted. I will have a garrett 60-1/.63 turbo. I have an a6 head and i wasnt sure weather i sould get a z6 head or stay a6 basically im asking if it would be worth it or not?? also i am looking for a tuner to tune my engine when i get it done i am located in maryland and i will be using crome. all help is appreciated

Use the a6 head, From what ive heard(via the interweb) the a6 is the best flowing head, The only thing that makes the z6 in better, is the cam. So get yourself a crower cam, and valvetrain, and rev that bitch to the moon!!!!!! For a tuner, I would take the trip up to NJ and visit Xenocron, on the east cost, he is the man.

Thanx alot sounds like a good idea to me i already had him in mind but i was just wondering if there may be any one that was closer to me but thats ok i can take a trip.

yes use the a6, I have one that was done by Gude on a d15b2 and just with the si cam 112whp 102tq no turbo

I have a a6 head that I had a stock rebuild on it, drove on it for about 4k miles, and then I poped a hg. Took it into the machine shop, milled it 5thou, and never put it back on the car. Its still sitting under my bench if you want to buy it, just lmk.
