iv got a 92 civic hatch cx with a d15b8 and i need power
the motor only has 98000 on it but i cant build it up much more ......what motor or upgrade for under 2000 will give me the most power for my money?

Best bang for tha buck you'll ever get.
Cheap and lot's of power. And with the left over money you can get a DOHC ZC.

 

to put in a turbo though, don't you have to do other stuff to the car also to make it strong enough for so much new power

 

no not for the little amounts of boost ppl do here.. like 5- 7 psi will be ok with stock engine.. but for 2000 u could get a b16 probably.

 

id rather stay naturally asperiated

Cheap and fast hmmm well cheapest and fastes is B16

 

If your going to stay N/A go with the B16 if you might want to turbo go with a b18b.. I would say do a B18B swap you can pick them up for around 1k from most junkyard becuse there are sooo many of them.. then take the other 1k you have get a good clutch and start building a Turbo for it..... Also another swap you could go with is a B20 but that will cost you about as much as a b16
