Inline pump generally are high pressure. Not really needed.

no but a fuel pump is needed, and if like i say i am to convert from carbs (low pressure mechanical pump) to fuel injection (high pressure electrical pump) then i will need to change my fuel pump and i dont want to have to buy a new tank an intank pump, if i can get away with an inline pump then that is what i will do

IF I HAD AN ELECTRIC INTANK FUEL PUMP THEN I WOULD NOT WANT TO REPLACE IT.

I HAVE A MECHANICAL PUMP TO SUPPLY MY CARBS BUT THAT WILL NOT WORK FOR FUEL INJECTION, AND, AS I HAVE CARBS, MY FUEL TANK DOES NOT HAVE THE FITTINGS FOR AN INTANK PUMP, THEREFORE I WANT TO GET AN INLINE PUMP SO THAT I DO NOT HAVE TO GET A NEW TANK, SO WHAT TYPE OF INLINE PUMP SHOULD I GET?

I am about to put in a 255lph walbro in my prelude h22 for my turbo project but unless you are gonna be running a turbo with high psi, the 190 will do ya just fine. Let us know!

Yes surfer just get an inline pump and make sure you have adjustable FPR.

the local car parts dealer has an inline pump that flows 120-180 lph at a pressure of 3bar so i think that is what i am going to do wont need an adjustable reg for that as the standard job will cope hopefully

Be sure to upgrade all the fuel lines for high pressure, the stock carb ones aint gonna cut it.

you sure, I mean if i put the inline pump on the firewall, then, all of the supply line to it will be suction lines as they were before, then replace all of the flexible ---- from the outlet side of the pump to the hard return line and as the return line is hard piped it should cope as there is no restriction on the end of it it wont generate much in the way of pressure
