Default What do you guy's run for Ring Gaps on your Piston Rings??

I just built the bottom end of my ls/vtec and SRP calls for .016 on the TOP ring for Street/Race Turbo applications and .018 for the Second Ring for the same application. I measured all the End Gaps on the JE rings that came with it and they were all RIGHT AT THE GAP that JE reccomends .016 on the Top and .018 on the Second. This is for a serious turbo application, being both daily driven and Track raced, shooting for 500whp at probably around 25psi. For just a Street/Moderate Race application they allow for .014 on the Top gap and .016 on the 2nd ring. As I mentioned The gaps were right at spec and not any looser but I don't have a ring filer either so I put them on since they were RIGHT at spec. If need be I'll pull em out before any further building and file em but I just wanted to know what you guy's think?? and your own personal experiences with Ring Expansion and Precautionary Ring gaps?

here's a link to my build post:
