Default What to do?

Hello all. I'm new to the board, but...
A 1986 Civic dx hatch appeared in my yard recently. It runs (barely) and it kills LOTS of mosquitos while doing so.
It has a 1.3 (carb), man. trans., its pretty straight, someone went and started to remove interior plastics but didn't get very far. It also needs a windshield.

I want to know if its worth doing anything with or should I just unload it cheap. Any ideas?

My mechanical skills are pretty good, just limited on time.
Many thanks in advance...

likes those two said, there ain't much besides doing the following : cleaning the whole interior out. taking everything out of the trunk. put a roll-cage in that thing and go rally driving

i wouldnt say that guys. i saw a guy a few years ago that stuffed an h22 in one of those suckers. he had the gayest traction problems...but he had an h22...in a 86 hatch. that was cool. oh yeah....i never saw it again...but he couldnt break 14.9. it looked like he took a huge sludge hammer and hacked the ---- out of the engine bay. but point is....H22...in 86 hatch. NICE. but my 2 cents would be 100 shot direct port on the carb!!!!!!!!!!

swap in a 1.5L and turbo it.
Or just boost that 1.3 just for the fun of it.
Good learning experience...is much better to mess up on that car then you brand new 88 civic or crx .
I've seen a boosted 3rd gen civic with a stock 1.5L running high 12's .He was running at 20 psi(I heard)
But he had a Haltech engine management system

Ok, knowing that I essentially have an albatross in the yard, I need to know what drivetrains fit this chassis. Are there specific engine series/trans combos that will fit? The goal being to sleeper this thing. I also have a complete running '86 saab 900t next to it in the backyard now, so turbo parts aren't an issue, I just need to find a good basis to put them on.

TIA

After much digging through the links section and browsing the hybrid 'site, I have a much better idea as to what will fit (bolt in) and what will 'fit'(hammer/weld). The H22 sounds great, but cost comes a little into play here, and I'm new to the local scrounging of cars/parts in western wash. My pref would be the Integra swap, d16a1 I think its called, and getting a complete car for all the electrics/fuel to boot. Any ideas of good sources that are semi local, I know Jeff and Beau are around but I don't personally know them. Again, many thanks for all the replies.
