Okay i'll be running a D16y8 block and either d16a6 or d16z6 head... according to ARP the a6/z6 head bolt studs are the same.. so would i go with the head for the studs or the block... let me know!

1 more question... for Darton sleeves would it be best to get the "Darton Sleeve Kit for D16" all this info i'm finding on www.raceeng.com let me know!

I believe you would get the studs for the head, so you would get them for the Z6 application.

I wouldn't be too sure about that. The studs will thread into the block. The only issue is whether the bolts will fit through the head. I don't know, it's up in the air.
I have the y8 bolts here, so if you need any measurements to confirm, let me know.

 

i checked with the honda dealer. buy the studs for the head ur using, therefore get z6 studs
