Re: welding

You need to find someone with a TIG welder and have them weld it up with a Certanuim filler rod

Re: welding

Lemme guess, your diff exploded? I found some aluminum and bashed it into the appropriate shape, then jb welded the piss out of it. Its pretty solid.

Re: welding

I fixed an LS tranny with the same problem. GUy gets a new clutch installed, something explodes inside all the oil leaks out.

I took a look underneath and there was a dime sized hole where the diff is. Opened that bitch up and sure enough the input shaft bearing fell apart and shot out a ball bearing that the diff cought and blasted through the housing.

I just cleaned up the surrounding area put some masking tape outside the tranny's hole, and poured in the JB weld. I heated it with a blowdryer, and after a few hours bolted everything back up. and that ---- ran fine with no leaks.

jb thatn ----. i have personally seen jb weld do things well that it should not do at all. you could weld it, but thats time consuming and hard.
