I have a sunpro water temp. gauge and I cant figure where to put it except the radiator and the bottom....and it wont read the temp that way....if I stick it though the top while running it goes to 160 degrees
Is there any spots on the back of the block that i can put it?

i always just tapped into a water line if its a mechanical unit.

um a water hose that your not using like for the heater core etc

 

I just removed the sensor for the stock temp gauge and put the new sender there. Or if you want to keep the stock one working you could probably T into that spot on the head.

on the b series it needs to be drilled and tapped.

 

Iunno why it wont work on the bottom of the radiator.....
theres a bung there where you can drain it....and the sensor thingy screws right in there.....
it just doesnt read the tempature doen there

 

Im using my heater hoses.....isnt the tempature sensor on the back of the block?? the 2 little prongs that stick out....or the single one??
