Who the hell cares how loud it is? Don't be a gay ricer. His is probably faster becuase it has a wilder profile CTR cam. But if it really bothers you, hook an airhorn up to the VTEC solenoid so everybody will know you have VTEC

Not tryin to be a dick, but if all yer worried about is a VTEC noise...you gotta long way to go. Even so, I thnk VTEC is somewhat over rated, yeah its nice an all, but when it comes down to it, forced induction is what every honda or integra needs, unless you gotta butt load of cash for an all motor import

A lot of times ricers are talking about sohc vtec too, which is nothing. I remember when I was looking to buy a civic a couple years ago and I was at a used car dealer and there was a 95 EX for sale for 4 grand and the guy was like, "Yeah, it's a real nice car, and its quick, it has one of those vtec engines which everybody wants." He must have taken me for a ricer to talk like that. I was thinking, you have no idea what you are talking about.

I mena, i have a SOHC VTEC, and i could care less, with the greddy kit and a 50 shot of ZEX and my other mods, it wouldnt make a bit of difference if i had an EX or DX, but i bet if i did have a B18 it would be different, but igot stuck with the ex to get outta a lease on a prevoius car
