Hey guys, i recently finished my gsr swap into my 93 hatch. In the past few days my speedometer is acting funny by swaying back and forth and finally going to zero when cruising at highway speeds. my check engine light is on and the code is 17 for vss. my question is can i swap any b series vss or does it have to be gsr specific. I can get a 99 si vss from work for less than $70, i called my local acura dealer and they said 200! what do you suggest?

 

yes any B-series will work. Make sure its for your tranny tho. By that i mean hydro or Cable. you have it in a 93 Hatch my guess its hydro for sure. So ANY b-series hydro VSS will work man.
