throwing a vss code on my buddies 94 civic his old auto tranny had a electric vss and his new 5 speed tranny had a mechanical vss i was wondering other than chipping the ecu what all do you need just the cable that runs from the tranny to the cluster

 

92+ are all electric VSS unit on the tranny.

Sounds like someone has the wrong tranny for their car.

 

so how can you bypass the cel

 

don't bypass it, FIX IT!
