vitara pistons
i came across an interesting build and thought i would share with you all...
Suzuki Vitara pistons... i guess mate up to stock d series rods or eagles and are able to take the abuse of 15psi... but the CR seems kinda low...8.5??? http://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=860134 |
Re:vitara pistons
give it a try and let us know how it goes

Re:vitara pistons
stock d-series ---- can take 15 psi...its really not worth the work to put in other non-forged ---- imo
|
Re:vitara pistons
I would be worried about the rods before the pistons but people do that swap just to lower the compression and the pistons are dirt cheap.

Re:vitara pistons
Stock d's might take it, but might not, you never know. With this cheap build you know it'll be fine, you don't have to wish it will hold.

Re:vitara pistons
But there was just one guy saying they weren't and the dealer said they were, who will you believe? I would call the dealer or do some more research.

Re:vitara pistons
lol....a dealer said they were forged. my honda dealer has to ask me how many doors my car has when i tell him its a 96 cx. they dont even know the honda engine codes either

Re:vitara pistons
Me:
"I have a 94 d16z6 engine. Do you guys have the bottom end seals for my block?" Honda dealer: "What's a d16?" |
