yeah the lubricate better and last longer.

i talked to a machine shop and they sed that honda valve guides almost never need replacing.

even 10 year old heads he sed the valve guides meet specs.

the stock valve guides probably do last that long under normal driving but in my opinion I wouldnt use them in a race motor. better safe then sorry.
