Valve guide seal removal

I'm rebuilding a head and have everything removed except the valve stem seals. They turn when i twist them with pliers but won't seem to pull out. Is there an easy way to do this?

heat the head to about 300 F Drive them out from the bottom up.

spark plug boot puller works great.

I use a really big pair of pliers.
