Default VAFC made me throw CEL?

I was ------- around with the Vtec engagement on my VAFC, i took it to like 4000 or maybe a little higher just to see what it'd do and I threw a "pressure switch" CEL. what does that CEL mean? and what could have caused it?

my only guess is that the oil pressure is too low at that rpm for vtec?

yeah, it engages fine at 5000rpm, but too low and i guess there's not enough pressure
