Default USDM vs EDM

Hi,

I have read a lot of posts but found very little about EDM engines (D16Z5).
Is there any information on the net you know about this engine?
I believe it should be similiar to USDM D16Z6 but there is different comp ratio.
Can I use pistond from D16Z6 in my D16Z5 to decrease it?
I don't wanna go with 15-18 PSI boost on 10,4:1 comp ratio.
One more, I know B-series engine stuff is kind of Heavy duty comparing to D-series.
Is there a chance to use for example rods and oil punp from B16 in my d16?
Any info on EDM D16Z5 will be very appreciated

I know those are kind noob questions but you always talk about USDM rare about JDM and almost nothing about EDM while EDM is what I am interested in.

Thanks

It is German CRX ED9, and I was able to figure out some specs.
Engine is in pieces now I am wating to get my sleves, gaskets and other junk including pistons (9.0:1).
Anybody know if there is achance to put B16 rods? my D16 rods won't last boost i wanna have and I am not going to spend on HD rods as much as the car is worth itself , here performance parts are crazy expensive. Can B16 rods replace D16 ones and will last for about 300hp

no, i'm in Poland what sux, it is hard to get a fair turbo here not spendig $1K only ---- TDI blowers not mentioning any aftermarket parts .
Are LS rods any better than standard D16 rods? I want to make high HP (hoping for around 250HP what may be hard).
LS is something typical for USDM so i know ---- about it.

Ls are A form of B18 rod if you want high horsepower go with an after market rod. Contact tunertoys and see what they can do on shipping.

It must be lonely over there, every other person I speak to at the minute is from Poland, seems like england is the place to come to for work.

Oh and a German ED9 CRX should have a D16a9 in it surely? twin cam non vtec?
