Default Turbo Project Inquiry

Ok i have a '89 EF,

I have a HF manifold that i am going to build a adaptor plate for that will have a wastegate and connect to my kkk k26 turbo and i want to adapt my stock down pipe to it, i know its small..

for managment i would like to run 350cc injectors and have a rising rate fuel presure regulator and a bigger pump and for my spark i want to run a msd box.. maybe water injection if need be

goal 7psi

does this sound safe and is there anything else i should keep in mind

motor has 6000 miles on it. (d15b2 botom, d15b7 head, with multipoint, camgear, port and polished head, and .051" cometic HG)

Thanks, -Jake

for managment i would like to run 450cc injectors and have a chipped ecu and a bigger pump and for my spark i want leave it alone becuase msd sucks on hondas.. and definetly not water injection if need be

I believe you'll be fine at 7psi with that set up, if not a bit more.

im guessing you dont know a whole lot about turboing cars, so ill give you some information about it.
you would never use a fmu with a chipped computer. and the stock ecu will not support those 350cc injectors. the fact that he wants to use a fmu shows he does not have an upgraded ecu

yes very good i wanted to run my stock maps, i want some way to retard my spark.. all i want is 7 psi w/o detinating and i want to run my stock ecu b/c a lot of people arround me do not think it can be safely done, i can get a tune and it would prolly be cheaper...

also i was looking into this J&S Electronics • SafeGuard

instead of the msd

so you dont want to tune the car because people say its a bad idea? if thats what you are saying then your an idiot and that car deserves a better owner. they say it cant be safely done becuase it cant be safely done. actually go ahead and do it then take pictures a few weeks later when you engine is fucked
