sadly thats what i do majority of the time. Drive down the street get to revlimiter let the revs drop in gear. No cel tps is set

 

i havent ever used a multimeter to set one either... just like the dizzy, just set it in the middle'ish...no CEL? your good :P

actually i have been running ones with riveted on TPS, then selling my others/extras to chris lol...
