yes. Also, make sure you are using the Z6 timing belt.

I'd say swap out the gear. Also when you did the timing belt did you put it on w/ the crank pulley at TDC and the cam gear up or crank at 18 BTDC and cam gear up? I know it is a stupid question, but I've seen a lot of mini-me writeups saying to have the crank at 18 BTDC with the cam gear at up.

88-95 cam gears are the same. A z6 head on a b7 reatard the timing 4.75 degrees. Ethier get a y8 cam gear or an adjustable cam gear.

cloud, THANK YOU!

The cam timing will be off 1/2 tooth advanced or retarded depending on how you set it up. Use a stock Y5/Y7/Y8 cam gear and like it up per factory specs.......

Just a little tease.........D15B7 with Crame A6 cam, IHE, and Y7/Y8 cam gear..........

121.2 whp on a mustang is about 145 chp on a 102 hp motor, cam was installed stright up. Some retard from a head milling would do wonders!!!!!!!!!1

I feel the pain man. My mini-me's timing has been biting me in the *** since day 1. I don't have a timing cover (the top portion) to line the cam gear up to but I do have an adjustable gear. I'll be playing with it some more to try and get it right.
