My car has a HMT and I preach HMT to everyone, but that doesn't mean a D-series making 148WHP isn't cool.

You guys kinda sound like V8 guys talking about hondas... really...

I know a turbo would be better, I know it wouldn't beat a POS with a POS turbo kit !!! Still 1.6L making 170Crank Hp is pretty good, of course without FI..

 

If this isn't proof of why a N/A Honda is worthless I don't know what is. I can't believe they're proud of 148hp. I would be embarrased if it was my car.

im actually going to try to put a similar engine together and see what happens. not givng up on boost id never do that but i want to try my hand at putting a motor together. im going to just use all stock honda parts too. well see.

 

Honda makes a NA 1.6l that pumps out 185hp b16b :P

 

nitrous loves compression (if you add fuel too)........i think with a 50 shot that guy could put down some respectable numbers, for what he has at least. 148 from a all-honda-part d-series is pretty respectable.
