tach wire question

im using a rpm switch for vtec;i used the blue wire on the distributor;taped into it and soder it;

oh man...you got me lost.....i would just do what 88crxsi did, and use the wire behind the cluster

well i got it figured out ;i had to take the dizzy apart ;and find the negative wire on the coil; it works like a champ

just an FYi blue wire is neg on the coil....
hmm, wonder why it didnt work ;until i ran a wire to - on the coil
