i believe its the blue one

Re:tach wire question
i think thats right. there are two plugs, one has about 8 wires coming out of it and the othe has two a black and a blue on. the blue one is your tach wire. tap into that and youll be set

Re:tach wire question
thanks guys youve been a big help ;D

Re:tach wire question
yeah thats how i did it...i just un-plugged the plug with the two wires and slid a stripped wire in there(you have to put it in the side with the blue wire)...plugged it back up and it worked like a charm

Re:tach wire question
there is also a blue wire by the firewall on the dirver side of the engine bay that has a rubber plug on it, that is the tach wire that the honda service department plugs into to do their checks. 98ctr

Re:tach wire question
if this is for a after market tach grab the wire behind the cluster ;)
|
Re:tach wire question
wire behind the cluster? ??? can you explain..i got a 91 dx hatch..is it on the right or left side of the cluster(looking at it straight on still in the car)

Re:tach wire question
i needed to find the tach wire for a rpm switch;so i hook it up; and it kills my tach on the dash ;until i unhook it;whats up with this; its hooked up right >:(
|
Re:tach wire question
so you used the blue wire behind the cluster, and now the tach on your dash doesnt work, but your aftermarket one works? how did you wire it...did you do it all ghetto or did you do it right(using a spliter)
