Default switched ECU's, now code 21 ::HELP::

ok, so i traded dustin (turbohf) my stock p30 for a chipped P05 converted to vtec. Mainly to get rid of the knock sensor code. i took it out for a spin, and all of a sudden, no vtec. i came back and told him, and we tried another chipped ecu, and still no vtec. Then I put the stock P30 back in, and once again no vtec. It is throwing a code 21, nothing else, and that is the vtec spool solenoid. when i put 12 volts to it, the vtec solenoid clicks loudly, so i know that the wire is good, and the solenoid works. The pin looks a little fucked up, but im not too sure. I would like any advice/opinions please. BTW the car is a 94 civic DX with a B16 swap Thanks -Zac

when i plug a wire into A4, and tap the wire on the battery, the solenoid clicks. so i know that the wire itself works. i might try to re-pin that spot though i guess....

Yeah you could have put the ecu in wrong and bent of broke the pin. Check and make sure that the pin is going into the socket.
