Suggestion before startup?

This weekend i plan on fireing up my new motor. Any suggestions?prime oil pump? Im not interested in any comments hotrex

cranking it over a few times to get oil flowing cant hurt

turn the key to on, and let it sit for 10 sec, turn it off, and check for fuel leaks.

be sure that you're smoking a lit ciggarette when checking for fuel leaks.

coolant, oil, everything tightened, everything connected.

or just do what I did: get fed up, stare at the mess, turn it over and hope. and then run on two injectors on full duty cycle. sigh.
