Default stripped crossmember= trackion bars?

i have a 91 teg and the left side will not bolt in . the bolts are stuck ina nd rotate but will not come out or go in, i tried welding the cross member to the frame but it wouldnt stick cuz it was so oily and dirty. what should i do?. cut it out and put traction bars in? this car is going to my sister and will be stock with ac. maybe throw a lttle turbo on there if i can keep the ac. i dont need tracktion bars but i couldnt come up with an idea.
thanks

what is stripped? the chassis mount holes or the crossmember holes? (the crossmember holes are not threaded)

the chassis holes
one bolt tightens then loosens, and i cant get it in or out the other one i can push up or down wont tighten or loosen. the one seems like the nut weld broke off the chassis and is just chillin onthe bolt preventing me from pulling it out. thanks guys

re-thread it w/ a larger size (bore it kinda). drill the x-member so the new bolt will fit through.

i bet he broke the nuts that are welded on on the other side. See if you can get at the nuts and cut em off and weld a new one on, if not, replace the beam that has them stripped.
