starter not engaging <not bad starter>

Default starter not engaging <not bad starter>

heres whats happening i turn the key on and every thing lights up like normal but when i go to start it nothing is happening so far i have replaced the starter,starter relay,starter fuse,and ignition switch all that is left is the clutch switch but i took a wire and bridged the connectors and still nothing any help would be much appreciated as of the moment i'm starting the car by using a peice of wire to bridge the starter solenoid and battery

the switch on the clutch pedal assembley. These usually are the problem. You can adjust them or sometimes they do go bad replaced this part on a 00 si

ya i thought about that so i striped both wires on the plug and winded them to gether as a temp. way to test it but it still did the same thang any more ideas

At the starter, check and see if its got 12v between the wire coming from the battery and a ground on the tranny. if you do, hook your multimeter up to the signal wire, and try starting it. if your getting 12v at the signal at KOES, your starter is bad or your starter selenoid is bad. if your not getting 12v at the signal at keos, try your neutral safety switch.

foud out it was grounding it self out in the fuse box so what i did was cut the ign. wire solidered in an inline fuse and ran a new wire to the starter works perfect some time you got to go getto gangsta

my starter doesnt work when its hot out and ive been driving it a while

i have to beat it with a big wrench or a mag lite a couple times.
