Default Stacking headgaskets?

I have an LS/Vtec in my 1992 civic hatchback. It has JE pistons, and the previous owner of the motor said that it had a compression ratio of somewhere near 12.5:1

My buddy said that it is possible to stack 2 headgaskets together to drop the compression. Which makes sense to me.

however, would this seal well? and what are the up sides and downsides?

Thanks.

you can daily drive it as it is, just never put anything less then premium in it or your asking to break something with that C/R

try less timing

SELL that motor and buy a different (low compression) motor... your gonna need like a 1inch thick gasket to lower it enough... i have a .074" think gasket for "turbo" and the stock gasket is .029" and it only lowers your compression one point...plus its gonna ---- with your cam timing... something even thicker? gonna ---- with it more... sell your motor and buy/build a turbo motor...
